I am linking up with Doodle Bugs for Five for Friday for the first time!!
1. I feel like my school life is crazy lately.  Not in a bad way, just in a I feel like I'm behind kind of way.  I know most of you are probably already wrapping, up your America units or Presidents' Day, but ....  Me being behind schedule, just got to these super cute guys this week. Below are 2 of the little people's directed drawings!

 2.  Our comprehension strategy focus this past month was on visualizing.  I've been looking for some new poems to use with the little people to reinforce how the get a "picture in their minds".  This little poem is called "When I'm an Astronaut" by Bobbi Katz.  Look at all of those details!  Super cute!
 3.  Super pumped about attending the Kindergarten Conference in Schaumburg, IL next Thursday and Friday.  Some of the wonderful presenters are going to be:  Deanna Jump, Kim Adsit and Kim Jordano to name a few!  And, get this I'm already signed up for their sessions!!  Yeah!  Can't wait!
4.  Had a snow day and got my latest inferring riddles pack finished up and posted.  Looking forward to begin our "Community Helper" unit and being able to introduce each community helper with a little riddle by looking at the evidence or clues within the riddle.
 5.  And, last but not least the anticipation of starting a brand new month with lots of fantastic activities shared by many of you through your blogs is at the top of my list.  One activity I came across last night was shared by Lisa Mattes over at "Growing Firsties"!  It's called "Half-and-Half Leprechaun".  I think my little people will truly love this fraction activity with their friends.  Click on "Growing Firsties" above to go directly to her post.
Hope you all have a wonderful and restful weekend!  Date night tomorrow and working on wedding flowers with my daughter on Sunday!  Can't get any better than that!!
