Hi - Let's Get Acquainted!!

I am linking up with Latoya Reed of Flying into First Grade and sharing three things about myself related to my initials.

My name is Kyp H. McLaren

So... K is for kids.  My life is filled with little people! I have 3 wonderful kids of own and 4 beautiful little grandchildren.  My little grandbabies range in age from four years old to almost one (April 13th).  They add so much to life and I love being a grandma, even though sometimes it's hard to believe my children are old enough to have their own children.  How can you not love this gang?!
H is for house!  We purchased 4 acres over 7 years ago to build a log cabin (our house) on.  It's been a very long journey.  Our journey began with clearing a road, building a garage and apartment to live in while building the cabin, a shattered leg (my hubby), 3 back surgeries (me), a knee replacement (the hubby), my mom dying and now finally trying to sell our Victorian home.  But, hopefully this summer we will get moved into the apartment and get to start on our home!  Yeah!

M is for mountains!  I absolutely love the mountains!  Yellowstone is my favorite place to visit!  But, the drive through the mountains to get there is a sight to behold!  Would go back in a heart beat!  Alaska is another place I would love to visit!  Hopefully, next summer!
Can't wait to get to know more about each of you!!

    1. I just couldn't get over the beauty of the mountains driving into Wyoming! The valleys were just incredible! I can't imagine what it would be like to look out the window each day to see such a sight!

  2. I'm here from the linky. At first I thought that cabin was yours, but then I read that you haven't started yet. I hope that yours turns out to be just as beautiful!

    1. Yeah, I wish it was my house! I've had my plans drawn for years, lol. Maybe some day in the near future I'll be able to post my real picture of my house.
